Ridango Introduces Next-Gen Ticketing System
The new automated fare collection system, coupled with the next-generation DV21 Validator, will offer riders improved levels of accessibility and enable enhanced self-service possibilities. The self-service validator model allows passengers to validate and purchase tickets onboard using the contactless bank card/mobile wallet (Apple/Google Pay) solution. Ridango’s next-generation, modular ticketing system is based on the Transmodel concept and will support Netex and BoB national standards out of the box, among other standards.
Additionally, the new onboard hardware, including vehicle controller, and self-service validators will form a modular and robust vehicle ecosystem that will easily connect to and support the existing contactless payment system and other third-party equipment and services.
