Erki will talk about “Offering additional public services and providing real-time passenger information using ID-based ticketing”. The presentation will be based on real experience and case examples, such as Tallinn City and Harju County with integrations to Park & Ride and furthermore, to the TallinnCard and museum entries and integrations through X-Road (governmental IT infrastructure middleware) to different databases for recognizing people living area, their study status and applying automatically the right fares to the individuals on their permission. Furthermore, the speech will focus on integrating ID-based ticketing to Real-Time Passenger Information as it provides all means to do so that integrates the RTPI and ticketing into one single back-office interface for the operator and agency.
