The contactless ticket payment solution is competing in the category “Best Smart Ticketing Programme (200k – 1m Daily Journeys”. The awards event will be the eighth annual edition of its kind, taking place during the Transport Ticketing Digital Summit – the world’s largest digital event for the public transport and mobility ticketing community.The purpose is to acknowledge innovative solutions and collaborative efforts in ticketing, worldwide. The winners will be announced on June 23.

Contactless bank card payment solution was launched in the Skåne region of Sweden in December 2019. It enables passengers to purchase tickets with a contactless bank card directly from a validator.
