Raimo Talviste will be joining Ridango as the new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board
Raimo will be joining Ridango on 26 April. Before this, he worked as a business line controller at the international industrial concern AQ Group and member of the board at AQ Trafotek AS. In addition, he previously worked as the finance and investor relations manager at the listed company Nordecon AS and as a finance auditor at KPMG.
“Ridango’s goal lies in becoming a leading provider of intelligent transportation systems in Europe and growing into a group of tech companies associated with the public transport sector by 2025,” commented Erki Lipre, Ridango’s CEO. “This year is extremely important for us from the strategic point of view as we have already invested a lot in our long-term vision: we are recruiting talents, developing a new strategy and preparing for potential M&A deals in order to increase our turnover tenfold. Kristjan Niinemaa, the current CFO, has done a great job laying the foundation for our success, and we are extremely grateful.”
“It is going to be an immensely exciting challenge, and it’s a pleasure to be joining a company at such a strategic stage. I know that Ridango owes it success not only to state of the art technology but also to its professional team and its business model which has proven its worth at the international level. By joining Ridango, I will be able to contribute to the growth of an IT company originating from Estonia on an international scale. The owners’ and management’s vision of the future implies that the “house” needs to remain in order while international expansion becomes more and more extensive. My previous experience will definitely support both,” Raimo Talviste said.
“Raimo’s impressive background and his wealth of experience will help Ridango make its next ambitious step towards growth. As the CFO and member of the Management Board, Raimo will be playing a major role in strategic planning as well as the implementation of our visions,” Erki Lipre added.
